Braixen Stone Edge Meme

So Braixen kinda mistimes her run, or the Stone Edge comes too quickly
and brushes Braixen onto the floor

but seeing as Pancham can control how far Stone Edge goes surely he can control the damage
I mean Ponyta in the original series could control its flames
and Unova had Pikachu and his Thunder Finger

so why would Pancham in this case use a fully damaging Stone Edge if it's used for performing?
I guess Monkey Inconsistency, Braixen gets up with a stiff upper lip

but her stick not so much
